Landmines and Cluster Munitions

Landmines and cluster munitions (which disperse smaller submunitions) are considered indiscriminate weapons and have caused terrible harm to civilians, often years and decades after fighting concludes. They have been banned under the Mine Ban Treaty and Convention on Cluster Munitions.
